“More person, and, therefore, more satisfied and happy”: The affective economy of reading promotion in Chile

Reading is often regarded as a public good and an essential part of developing almost every aspect human potential. In this article, we survey the “affective economies” literary reading through textual visual analysis documents issued by Chile’s Ministry Education. Through critical diffractive these with Ahmed’s (2004, 2010) Braidotti’s (2018) conceptualizations affective, claim that when presented beneficial, pleasurable, promising, assemblage exclusion set into motion.
